Kajol
Kajol Devgan / Mukherjee is famously known as Kajol, who is a successful Bollywood actress for
a long time. She has already promenaded a strong place in Hindi Film Industry .In her
short acting career, she is able to acquire at least six Filmfare Awards of
eleven nominated films. She was also able to make herself the award holder of
Padma Shri.
It is very much interesting that Kajol belongs
to a film related family. Shomu Mukherjee, her father was a prominent director.
When Kajol was still schooling she was found in acting of the film,”Bekhudi(1992)”.
She then enclosed her studies and mentioned herself in acting. Her hard working
action thriller film Baazigar was her career`s turning moments which deals
commercially success. She frequently got a huge number of public fame only for
her acting talent in several movies. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), a film
of huge romance was such a movie that could be supposed as her best work in career. Then co acting
with Shah Rukh Khan in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham made herself a part and parcel in Bollywood.
Early life and background
Kajol was
a Mubhai`s girl by birth. It is mentioned before that Kajol was discovered from
a film family. Her father, Shomu
Mukherjee was a well-known film director as well as producer and
Tanuja ,her mother `s occupation was acting.She has only a sister, Tanisha who
is also an actress. Her maternal aunt actress Nutan ,paternal uncle Joy
and Deb Mukherjee, paternal grandfather
, Sashadhar Mukherjee all are involved Hindi film industry. Again, a
wll-establshed actrss Rani Mukherjee is relatively her cousin.
Kajol started
her schooling at the St Joseph Convent Boarding School, Panchgani. She
wished to perform in acting since her
childhood. When she was in the age of 16 and still schooling she attended in
film shooting of Bekhudi. Only for her acting career`s development, she had to
give up her studies and gave full concentration to her acting.
Personal life
Kajol was
always a sensitive actress and cared about her relation. She was found in
dating with Ajay Devgn at the time of shooting of Gundaaraj. They reported it as a virtual
love in which no one told”I love you”, as usual does. Finally they got married
at Ajay`s house in February 24, 1999.
Though media reported about Ajay`s romantic affair with several
actresses, Kajol refused these news with a deep trust.
After two
years of their marriage, Kajol was got pregnant but she was suffered of
inability to do so. She then took success birthing a daughter child,Nysa in
April20,2003. She again became an ideal mother of a son child,Yug after a long
break of seven years.
