Deepika Padukone is a well-established name in Bollywood .She
is a talented actress as well as successful model. She has already earned a vital
career in Hindi films industry. Through his
glamour and beauty, she has made herself one of the most attractive ladies in
India.
Exceptionally
Padukone was the daughter of Prakash Padukone, a well-known badminton player. Though
he was born in foreign area,”Copenhagen” but grown in Bangalore. She starts his
career as a badminton player and reached at National Level. But she wished to
be a famous model .Then she gave up hoping to be a badminton player and tried
to get opportunity of fashion modelling. Her dream came to light when she was
offered to act in Kannada Film,”Aishwarya” as a leading character. But her
acting talent as well as career has turned strongly in Hindi film with the
blockbuster film,”Om Shanti Om(2007)” by which she was given Film Fare Award
for Best Female Debut without any competition with other films.
Her
acting talent has been discovered in a number of commercially and critically
hit movies. Love Aj Kaal(2009) is such a movie that has reflected her acting
talent. Then, Coctail(2012) may be regarded as one of her career changing film
which was commercially successful . Again, both the films Yeh Jawaani Hai
Deewani and Chennai Express were her mention worthy work which dialled a huge
commercial success. But her acting career was not full with bed of roses.
Bachna Ae Haseeno and Houseful was such her works for which she had to face
negative experiences. Her recent work in romantic film Goliyon Ki Raasleela
Ram-Leela has responded a very positive knock as she was the actress to be
given Filmfare Award for that.
Early life and modelling career
Deepika
was born on very first of the month of January 1986 in Copenhagen,
Denmark. Prakash, her
father is a badminton player by his profession and Ujjala,the loving mother of
Deepika worked in a travel agency. Anisha,her only younger sister is a
professional golfer. Ramesh, her paternal grandfather was worked as secretary
of the Mysore Badminton Association for a long time. So it is easy to say that
Deepika belongs to a sports related family. Deepika along with her parents came
to India and sifted to Bangalore only at the age of one year. Her schooling
period started at Sophia High School, Bangalore.Then she enclosed her college
education at Mount Carmel College. She then started for a bachelor degree in
Sociology at the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Unfortunately she
could not finished his education there only not for her time maintaining with
modelling.
At the
very early age, Deepika was a badminton player. Badminton was her profession.
But she wished to be a model permitting from her father. She realized that her
badminton playing was her family gifted. She wanted to be self-established. She
then tried hard to gain the goal. That Deepika is now one of the most
successful Bollywood actresses.
Personal life
It is
heard that Deepika was found in a romantic and sweet relationship with actor
Ranbir Kapoor at the time of shooting of film Bachna Ae Haseenoo in 2008.
Deepika herself told about her relationship openly. At that time media reported
about their engagement occoured in
November 2008.But she strongly avoided this occurrence in this way that she had
no intension to marry within five years. The relation lasted for a year and
then got broken. Deepika told about that she was just confused about Ranbir`s
mis-communication with her.
Deepika
was again seen with Siddharth Mallya, a cricket manager at IPL matches for
several times. A close picture of kissing Siddharth during IPL match in 2011
shown in web is now available. But Deepika again and again refused it
considering Siddharth as a good friend.
